About STI
History
Our story begins with Elena López's passion for data and her desire to share her knowledge. While leading the data department at a prestigious company, she faced a key challenge: managing large volumes of information in a high-impact project. To achieve this, she was offered the opportunity to form her own team of engineers.
Thus began something bigger. Elena founded the community «Learning DB with SQL Server», which became the largest data community in Latin America with more than 44,000 members. Through this network, she formed her first team and received recognition as a Microsoft MVP.
Driven by her experience and the advice of a friend, she founded STI Data in 2017. In 2020, she decided to dedicate herself fully to the company, expanding her team with three data engineers and a project manager.
The big leap came in 2021 with six major projects that accelerated growth. In 2023, a client requested 14 additional resources, consolidating STI as the Microsoft partner with the most certified engineers in the Caribbean.
Today, STI continues to grow and optimize business decision-making.

Winner for the 5th consecutive year of the Microsoft MVP award, thanks to her contributions to the Learning DB with SQL Server community, which has more than 44 thousand members from all over Latin America.
With more than 18 years of experience in data and business intelligence, she has guided companies through the complex landscape of business intelligence, positioning STI as a reference in digital transformation.
